I'm past the diaper bag stage and, when it comes down to it, I rarely need more than my phone, ID, credit card and a little cash. When we're running errands or on a theme park visit, I've learned to consolidate to so little that I can get by with just a small clutch. I prefer "tech bags" for amusement parks so that I can hang on and they don't get in the way.
