What is Vine?

what is vine

I'm seeing Vine all over my facebook page this week. People joining and shouting find me! follow me! and others saying what is Vine? Do I need to do it? Why? Vine is an iPhone app that's owned by twitter and it has a lot of potential--especially in retail, conventions, product development and the arts and cooking. I joined yesterday, played with it for a bit and learned a lot. I'm having a lot of fun checking out friends' 6-second split (or stop) video, but I'm not sure how I'll use it in … [Read more...]

Thank a Teacher Day

thank a teacher day

I didn't cry on the first day of Kindergarten for either of my boys. When they went to a new school, in first grade, I held in my anxiety and plastered a big, proud smile on my face. I was strong. I was secure. Today, as I dropped off the kids at school, I was glad to be chauffeuring them, me in the front, them in the back of the car.
