A good vest is an accessory that will wrap you from Fall through Spring, so you can count this as more of a multi-season investment piece. Most vests can dress up or down an outfit, even a puffer can be dressed up with the right accessories, like a scarf or subtle, shiny jewelry. Lucky for us, winter shopping “season” is almost over in the eyes of retailers, so we’re beginning to see a lot of winter vests popping up on sale. I love wearing my Puffer vest or jacket through the winter as they bundle me in a surprising amount of warmth. Perfect a run at the park, or over nearly any top or casual dress, don’t be afraid to dress it up. In the depth of winter, a puffer vest is expected to keep you feeling comfortable (I often leave mine in my office to keep me warm while working.) Similar vests varying in price from $70-$250+.
