Recipes and a Meal Plan for November; Includes Thanksgiving Leftovers Ideas

I came up with a brilliant plan last week. One of the kids owed me about an hour and a half of my life, because he or she might have wasted it in a temper tantrum. It was only fair, really, for me to require said child to give me that hour back by being my right-hand-man (or woman.) So, last week, this child started cooking dinners while I sat back and gave directions. I love cooking, but I love watching the kids learn about cooking even more. Watch out, kids. You may soon be creating my grocery list and adapting my meal plans… 4 weeks of healthy meals for November. AWESOME!

 November week 1

Monday: Crispy Baked Fish over lemony spinach
Tuesday: Drunken Pork Tenderloin with Apple Salad
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: : Crockpot Honey-Sesame Chicken over rice with pineapples and string beans
Weekend: Herb-Cheese Stuffed Salmon with side of Broccoli & Cheese; Lasagna Soup

November week 2

Monday: Slow Cooker Italian Herb Chicken with vegetables
Tuesday: Parmesan Baked Salmon and Wegmans’ Roasted Cauliflower & Delicata Squash with Baby Spinach
Wednesday: Turkey & Bean Chili
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Pizza night
Weekend: Huevos Rancheros Slow Cooker Tuscan Pot Roast

November week 3

Monday:  Salmon Macaroni & Cheese with Caesar Salad
Tuesday: Steak Salad with Roasted Red Pepper Relish
Wednesday: Chicken, Fennel & White Bean Soup (Slowcooker)
Thursday: Leftovers
Weekend:  Easy Chicken Enchiladas Cream of Sweet Potato Soup with salad

November week 4

Monday:  Slow-Cooker White Bean and Kielbasa Stew
Tuesday: Honey Soy Glazed Salmon with Spinach and Peppers
Wednesday: leftovers
Thursday: Thanksgiving
Weekend: Thanksgiving leftovers: Turkey Reuben with Cranberry Sauce;  Thanksgiving Empanadas; leftover Thanksgiving Soup
