Everything you need to know about Rocksbox — plus a free month for you!

After watching friends try Rocksbox for a few weeks, I finally figured I’d join in the fun and give the concept a try. You’ve all seen my love for the excitement of StitchFix and LeTote arriving on my doorstep, and I already love accessorizing, so why not join a company that sends you beautiful jewels to try, wear and return, or buy!

How Rocksbox works

Joining Rocksbox is simple. You complete a quick survey about your fashion and style — it takes less than 15 minutes. Then, for just $19/month, your Rocksbox stylist will send you a selection of 3 pieces (value of about $200) she thinks is perfect for your needs. Once you receive your box, you can try out the jewelry for as long as you’d like, wear it a few times, and then send it back for new jewels. Or, if you adore it and can’t  part with a piece, you can buy it at a discounted price.

Rocksbox also has a great #wishlist feature (that I wish StitchFix would adapt.) As you search through items on their site, you can add them to your wishlist to let your stylist know you’d like to try the pieces. Alternatively, hop over to instagram and comment #wishlist any item you see in their instafeed to let the stylist know it’s something you lurve.

What will this cost?

A basic Rocksbox membership costs $19/month. (See below for a free month!) You can send back and forth as often as you’d like. I kept my first shipment for about a week, then sent it back and completed the return evaluation (where you tell how much you love or dislike pieces so your stylist can start working on your new shipment.) My new shipment should arrive any day.

Each month you also receive a $10 spend credit so if you love something, you’ll have $10 off to buy it.

And when you refer friends who join, you’ll receive a $25 credit (nice!)

What will I receive in my Rocksbox?

Each Rocksbox delivery is hand-picked for you, so you probably won’t receive the exact 3 items I received last week. Expect the value of the pieces to be around $200. Featured designers include Gorjana, Kendra Scott and House of Harlow 1960.

I highly suggest taking advantage of Rocksbox and the free month (with that code below!) to try out styles you’ve never tried before. If you’ve always wanted a bold statement necklace in bright blue, ask for it. There’s no commitment and you just may find a new style you love. Rocksbox is also great for travel when you don’t want to bring along your best items or you need resort wear for just a week or so.

So, what about that free month of Rocksbox?

I’ve been teasing you a lot, haven’t I? Yup, I’m here to grant you a free month, so that you can learn more about Rocksbox and experience it without committing to the $19 just yet. Give it a try, and if you don’t love it, cancel your membership on your anniversary date. But, be warned, you’ll probably love that giftie in the mailbox!
