Gifting a teacher doesn’t have to be hard, here are 6 easy ideas your teacher will love

I’ve posted often about the best teacher gifts (and what not to give a teacher). (click on all those linked [underlined] words for the different guides.) Here’s my newest list of teacher gift ideas– easy, thoughtful presents your teacher will love.

Blank Greeting Card

It’s a great idea to carry blank greeting cards in your handbag or diaper bag or give to your teacher to carry them. I started carrying extras in my car and my handbag and try not to leave home without them. You know those times when you  just want to slip a quick note on someone’s windshield, or attach a message to something you’re dropping off at a friends’ house, or leave a note in the teacher’s mailbox? Those are times when carrying notecards totally comes in handy. I can promise you, the recipient is thrilled to recieve a hand-written note from you. Gift yourself a few. They make a fantastic teacher gift, too–  how adorable will these personalized notecards be, personalized with the teacher’s name?!

 flowers teacher gift

Give her Fresh Flowers! I don’t know why I never thought of this idea before, but who doesn’t love flowers?! What a beautiful gesture to gift your teacher a beautiful bouquet. Its a huge help to send the flowers already in vase, because her hands will be very full and she’s likely to be very busy first thing in the morning. Flowers without a vase will be placed on her desk and likely to dry out. Rather than giving your kid the duty of carrying the flowers to school, have them delivered!

personalized labels for teacher gift
Just like kids, a teacher needs to label all of her things, too. So gifting her the best labels, helps her enormously. We’re huge fans of Mabel’s labels, and this pack of personalized labels is perfect for a teacher.

 file tote for teacher

I recently bought this for my own business and it’s been perfect for taking important papers on the go. I wish I had this on-the-go file tote when I was a teacher! It’s definitely a group-gift type of present, but every teacher I know would SO appreciate it! As an option, here’s a file tote that’s a bit more masculine.

teacher gift

Finally, a popular gift for any female teacher is always a simple pair of versatile earrings. Depending on your budget, this is another gift you may want to partner up with another family.

teacher gift games

Most teachers are kids at heart and love playing games with their families, friends and students. A new engaging game like 5 Second Rule – Just Spit it Out! or an old favorite such as Scattergories Game are always hits. (This is a great gift for a male or a female teacher.)

These are GREAT recommendations and I have to agree about the BLANK CARDS! I saw your post on FB from a friend of mine who shared it and thought I would click over to see what was on the the list, not really expecting to see our exact product line…:) Shameless plug here: http://www.inspiredbyit.com
I am biased, but I think blank cards are great teacher gifts TOO!

Have to say the earrings are a close second….LOVE the earrings too!!!!
