Oh Bleep! I have nothing to wear!

Yeah. I stand in my closet and say that, too, sometimes. As it happened, I said it yesterday around 7 am, and found myself rushing off to Nordstrom to grab somethings business-y for a few events I have scheduled in the coming weeks. What actually happened is I hadn’t needed a suit anytime recently (the hangers weren’t turned for over a year so, you know, see ya clothing!) and I’d given the suits to Dress for Success, a not-for-profit that “empower(s) women in need. To date (their) services and programs have helped more than 700,000 women globally – moving individuals and families from barely surviving to significantly thriving.”

But, yesterday, it was time to find clothing to help me dress for success.

Hi Julie, I don’t know if you really want my opinion, but the Ela suit jacket $128 and skirt $69 and New Taylor suit pants $79 with Halogen three-quarter sleeve sweater $59 combo looks the most stunning and professionally “dressed to the nines”, in my humble opinion.

I SO appreciate your opinion, William! thank you! I bought the suit but with the circles top, rather than the sweater. I may have to go back and get the sweater because it looks great for 50-ish degree weather.

Second choice would be the peach ensemble: Kenneth Cole NY Sherry Fit & Flare dress $128 with (left and middle, right) Diamond Stripe Peplum Jacket $138 and (bottom right) Ela suit jacket $128. Hope this is somewhat useful.

The diamond stripe peplum jacket I LOVE, but it didn’t come together as great as this picture. It might have been the sizing. And that peach dress is awesome. I totally surprised the sales associate–she hadn’t seen the dress, suited.
