Some say Pinterest is an enormous time-waster, others find it soothing, but most of us find it great for inspiration in any number of topics. From Food to Crafting to Fashion, you can find your motivation for any interest or hobby.
There are often Fridays when I ponder what Fashion topic to write about, and, inevitably turn to Pinterest for an idea. Here are a few of my favorite Fashion boards on Pinterest that focus on everyday fashion for those of us in our 30s and 40s.
Favorite Fashion boards on Pinterest
eat.sleep.wear: Personal Style
If nearly 1 million followers on this board doesn’t screawm “why aren’t you following it?” then consider that Kimberly’s graphic design career inspires her style: she likes modern, clean design and it’s evident on this board. Personal style combines New York and LA chic with everyday fashion that will inspire you to dress a bit more on edge, a little more city.
Nina Garcia: Style on the Streets
It wasn’t easy to pick just one board to highlight from Nina. While her focus is classic style, she’s the Creative Director of Marie Claire magazine and a judge at Project Runway. This style-maven highlights trends, designers, and everyday style. While some of her Style on the Streets board is, actually, style on the runway, I love it when she posts pictures of fashionable people in the real world. Search through Nina’s boards if you’re obsessed with always being on the fashion edge.
Follow my Stylin’ Board
Of course, if you like my style (and who wouldn’t?!), then be sure to follow my Stylin’ board, which is where I pin things as I Windows shop when I need a break.
Skimbaco Lifestyle: Everyday Fashion
Katja is well known in the blogging field for her incredible lifestyle boards, featuring everything modern to everything country. A Scandinavian, she spent some time in the states and now resides back in Europe, making her everyday trend-watch a worldwide blend.
the Women’s Fashion board is a collaboration of 2379 pinners, and counting. You’ll find every style, every look, every trend mixed together on this board.
Vera Sweeney: Outfit Breakdowns
If you’re not always clear on how to pull together a look, check out Vera’s Outfit Breakdowns board. The board is a collection of collaged outfits, so you know exactly how to make each look–literally from head to toe.
Audrey McClelland: Obsessing over these easy fashion for moms
Audrey pins looks you can easily pull together from your closet. Amazing how when you do it right, it looks so chic!
