I’m filling your week with video and book reviews. As you know, it’s been a huge summer for me to dive deep into books. I’ve posted book lists to get me through and I’m just trekking along through the list. Here’s summer book list 1 and summer book list 2. There have been a lot of books to review and recommend, and one that I just can’t stop thinking about and recommending is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.
I’m recommending this surprisingly uplifting story for older teens through adult. It’s officially a Young Adult novel, but it has sexual suggestions which I just don’t think should be in the hands of kids under 16 or 17. The story is about teens with cancer and their relationships, reminding readers to take advantage of your life and to enjoy it until the very end. Yes, you’ll need tissues, but you’ll love these characters so very much you’ll want to embrace them all as you feel their love.
Here’s my video review of The Fault in Our Stars.
