Refreshing to hear you support boot-cut jeans. . .I have a couple pairs and I’ve been worried with all the skinnies I see. I think they are very flattering and love them with my short boots.

  2. This was a great list. I love that you mentioned a navy dress rather than a black one. I also love a good boot cut jean. Even though I wear a lot of skinny jeans now, I still wear my boot cut ones, especially with boots.

  3. I love *all* your recs! I now am jonesing for a navy dress but I’ll just switch up my black and royal ones and “shop my closet.” I also need boots (my old ones were not real leather and are all stretched out and “Santa Boot”-y) so maybe a trip to DSW is in my future. Thanks Julie!

I love that you have the top five list. That’s perfect. Do you want to come do my wardrobe? ;)

And don’t tell anyone, but the jeans I’m wearing today? They’ve developed a rather unfortunate hole, so they’re headed for the garbage :(

  5. Julie, I love how you doubled up VlogMom and FashionFriday! :)

Those are beautiful pieces! I especially love the sweater tip. I really want to buy a few more sweaters. And I totally second the “spend money on jeans” sentiment! I have purchased cheap jeans. They fit like crap. I looked awful. Then I saved up money and spent $80 on jeans (that is a LOT for me) and they made me look amazing and lasted 5 years. (I was soooo sad when I saw the knees get holes)

  6. Thanks for sharing, I needed inspiration for what to wear this winter, you have some really good ideas!
