We’re huge tortilla fans. Huge. Any given day my kids and their friends thrill when I make quesadillas for lunch. Such an easy lunch and even easier to serve as I just slice them up like pizzas and serve on a big plate. Of course, the quesadillas are healthier when served with dippings like salsa and guacamole.
On school days, my kids far prefer wraps to sandwiches, and they make them themselves–usually with something simple like mayo, turkey and cheese, though sometimes I’ll spread hummus on to surprise them.
Tortillas are great at dinner time as well. One of our favorite quick meals is Spicy Chicken Wraps. And I pull out tortillas all the time for leftovers–roll up leftover stuffing from Stuffed Peppers or wrap up chili or taco meat with the fixings for a second meal and everyone is happy.
Tortillas to the Rescue has added to my breakfast, lunch and dinner menu selection–offering fun ways to mix up healthy food in a way my family will enjoy it. While many of the recipes make you go “why didn’t I think of that?” there are enough helpful surprises for easy, delicious meals that you can not only feed your family, but entertain friends as well. Often.

no. I grab whatever is on cheapest, usually. However, I do prefer wheat ones, so they always cost more. And Taco size are usually too small. So, yeah. I guess I do have a preference after all.
