Menu Plan, June week 3

As you know, summer is my favorite season to cook. I grill everything from fruit to vegetables to meats to pizzas. I love cooking with fresh vegetables and fruits, and chilled summer soups are some of my favorites. In fact, at my July 2000 wedding, we served a chilled fruity soup.

April shared a Simple Summer Gazpacho with me last week. She says she ate it all day. I’ve been making a gazpacho that I first read of in the book Too Many Cooks by Emily Franklin. But the word “simple” got my attention for my plans this week.

What’s on our menu plan this week

Monday: Simple Summer Gazpacho
Tuesday: Sargento’s Grilled Chicken and Peppers Sandwiches
Wednesday: Garden Pasta
Thursday: leftovers
Weekend: Cook-out! Burgers and hot dogs with cole slaw, potato salad and beans
