Sargento #ThinToWin: making lists to thin out my mornings

School is officially out. Which means so is my sanity schedule that I’ve grown to love this past year. For the last few days, I’ve been working to find ways to get my mornings in gear without rush to the school bus.

I’m pretty certain you already know I’m a routine girl. I need my days *just so* and I need my nights *this way* and I need my weeks *that way*. So this end-of-the-school-year structure-less time that we’re in now, before camp begins in July is rough.

Enter more lists.

creating lists

That’s right. I’m stepping it up and attaching not-so-little Post-Its on my computer the night before before. Each day for the past week, as I complete the work for the day, I’ve been careful to make a “next-steps” list so I will be certain to get my next steps done the next morning. My list contains everything from “send press release” to “pick-up dry cleaning.” (You see, the scheduled me did that every Thursday, without fail, on the way back from dropping off Little at preschool. Alas, sigh. No preschool this Thursday… or last Thursday.)

My Thin to Win Challenge

Sargento’s “Thin to Win” campaign encourages everyone to “thin out” their lives with 32 days of daily (or almost daily) challenges. Today is day #28 and I was assigned a challenge:

Thin out your morning beauty routine by preparing for the work day the night before. Tell us what you do to make your morning less hectic!

Enter to win a Spa Gift Card!

Ever the attempted-to-be-overachiever, I started last week. But now it’s your turn to take part. Head over to the Sargento Facebook page and tell how you take today’s challenge–you’ll be entered to win today’s prize: a $200 Spa Gift Certificate!

The prizes and challenges change daily, so be sure to check in often.

Thanks to Sargento Cheese’s Thin to Win campaign and The Motherhood for sponsoring this post.
