How to wear a blazer

Everywhere you looked last year you saw the cardigan. Bright cardigans, soft cardigans, ruffled cardigans, embellished cardigans. Today, I attempted to put on a cardigan. And then I took it off, opting, instead, for a blazer. Blazers take me back to the late 80s and early 90s and, believe it or not, I’ve actually held onto a few of my better blazers. I’ve just always felt so comfortable in them. They’re so easy to layer and become a part of an outfit.

This year’s blazers are bright and colorful and are being paired with skirts, pants, jeans and shorts. You can wear them with flats, heels and even sneakers. You’ll see them with all sorts of closures and some that stay open.

    I think a blazer is a wardrobe essential. I love throwing them on instead of a cardigan. It adds polish and warmth- and sophistication- to any outfit! Great post!

    I love the ones with the contrasting details! I just got this dove grey suede blazer and it’s my absolute favorite for dressing up, down, and for all seasons! I might just have to bring it to Disney SMM!
