Truth? This coming week is one of my favorite of the year. Not only is it my birthday week, but it’s Read Across America Day on March 2, celebrating Theodore Geisel’s (Dr. Seuss) birthday by encouraging everyone to enjoy reading with children.
And what could be better than that?
This week, I’ll celebrate reading in all of my posts. From Reading in the Kitchen to books that changed my life, come back to discuss reading in your home, in your life and in your children’s lives.
If you’re a reader looking for anything and everything to celebrate reading, the list of links, below, will include articles that celebrate a love of reading, ideas for reading with your family, favorite books and much more.
For those of you who blog and would like to join in the reading celebration, some of my planned posts this week include how reading impacts who I am and how we celebrate reading in our home.
Inspired? Both of those posts will have blog hops attached — I want to hear how you celebrate reading and how it impacts you. Plus, I’m including a Linky to this post asking you to post any other reading-related posts. Share your favorite tips for reading with kids, your favorite books, you kids’ favorite book, a funny story about your 3rd grade reading teacher… whatever you’ve written about reading in the past, or write a post about reading this week.
Let’s start a conversation about reading–this is a Carnival so get writing, posting, visiting and reading! And if you have a chance, please link your post to this post to share the word of this carnival.
